Car Inverter

Car Inverter

Need an AC supply to run your Laptop, or charge your power tools Etc. Then come speak to us, we have been doing Car Inverter for years. The picture above shows a system we installed for a Film Crew, they needed to keep the Camera charged up between jobs!

The most efficient way to use a Car Inverter, is to power the unit from a second Battery, make sure you use a proper split charge supply Relay, this will connect the Second Battery to the Main Battery only when the Engine is Running. The reason we do this is to prevent the Car Inverter from using the power in the Main Battery, if you don’t... You could find yourself being unable to Start your Vehicle, when you want to drive off.

Make sure you secure and cover the terminals of the Second Battery, to prevent accidents, we had to sort a vehicle where the user dropped a spanner across the Second Battery Terminals, this caused a Major Short. Use one of our Battery Boxes, to keep the Second Battery safe.
